The Brothers Jones have been cranking out their awesome makeup and special effects for Hollywood and now it’s time for you to get a front row seat to all the horror you can stand!!
Starr and Dean have been working on films like: Day of the Dead, the most recent Pirates movie and Pirates 3 (Yes, Dean Jones’ name DOES appear in the credits!!). And they’re bringing their creepy friend with them!! Jeepers Creepers!!!!! Hmmm?????

Greetings from the crypt,

It’s been a while. Sorry about that. Lots to tell you about the Jones Brothers and the Show.
First, the long awaited movie Mortuary directed by Tobe Hooper will finally see the light of day on the SciFi network next Saturday night at 9pm (3/25/06) (check your local listings).
The brothers have been busy on set for several Hallmark movies and Pirates of the Carribean 2 and 3. As well as shooting another war related film in Morocco.
As for the Show big things are coming this season. And we ask those of you in the local area to click on the cast/crew link and call in to help. We will be starting much earlier this year so come on out. I will post the exact dates and times on the website as soon as I can.

Once again many thanks to the cast and crew of the 2005 season. Also a big thank-you to all our wonderful patrons.

Well if you missed it last night you still have several chances to see The Original Hollywood Horror Show on Turner South’s Blue Ribbon series. The show is featured as one of the Best Halloween Celebrations in the South!!! It’s the very first one that they visit so make sure you sit through the opening credits, so you don’t miss anything!!!

Halloween brings out the kid in all of us, and it's the one time of year when we actually go out of our way to scare ourselves silly. Luckily, there are some very special places around the South that make it easy to get in touch with your inner ghoul. So put on your most frightening costume--and a brave face--as we travel to North Carolina, Georgia, Alabama and Tennessee to visit some of Blue Ribbon-worthy Halloween happenings.

Original Hollywood Horror Show, Snow Camp. N.C.
The tiny North Carolina community of Snow Camp might be one of the last places you'd expect to find an amazing Halloween experience. But each year, Hollywood make-up artists Dean and Starr Jones take a sabbatical from their day jobs, making the trek to this Pine State hamlet to put on a legendary scare-fest. For more than 15 years, the brothers Jones have been treating visitors from across the country to the fright of their life, bringing props, costumes and ideas from the projects they've worked on to help create the ultimate haunted experience. With 35-plus actors hell-bent on terrifying their guests, it's no wonder this Horror Show has become the longest-running haunted happening in the region.

At the Horror Show this season we are previewing the yet to be released film "Mortuary" clips and behind the scenes interviews from "Toolbox Murders" and "Mortuary".
Dean and Starr recently completed this season of the FX channels series "OVER THERE" and also completed a new pilot for Showtime time entitiled "Dexter".
Dean just completed filming "Waist Deep" with Tyrese and The Game...an urban action thriller from Universal pictures. 
Dean was working on the remake of the Poseidon Adventure and rolled over onto Pirates of the Caribbean 2 and 3 now shooting in the Bahamas. 
Their next feature will be Santa Clause 3 which begins shooting Nov 14 in Los Angeles 2005. 
The Jones Brothers are currently in development for a new horror film titiled 'NEVERMORE". The producer is Al Dickerson who is currently producing the Hallmark channel movies.

40 days and counting till Halloween. But more importantly it's only 7 days till the Opening Night of the 16th season of The Original Hollywood Horror Show. We're adding the final touches and updates to the show. Sprucing up the graveyard, adding cobwebs and blood gel and most importantly added freshly unearthed corpses: fresh from the set of Mortuary, a Tobe Hooper film that the brothers Jones' worked on (now in post-production).MORTUARY
The series Blue Ribbon (on Turner South) has added more dates for the Scary Places in the South episode#319 in which The Original Hollywood Horror Show is featured. The dates are as follows: October 19th at 10:30pm, Oct. 21st at 3:30pm, Oct 22nd at 2:30pm, and Oct 27th at 9:30pm. (check your local listings for episode #319)BLUE RIBBON

This Saturday the 24th is Dress Rehearsal actors and crew are asked to arrive at 3pm and guides to follow at 5pm.

The show dates have been posted for the Premiere Airing of the Original Hollywood Horror Show on Blue Ribbon on the Turner South network.
The focus is on the Best Halloween celebrations in the South!!!!
That’s right folks, see your favorite Haunted Attraction on National TV!!!
The dates are as follows so mark your calendars:
PREMIERE Showing is October 19th at 10:30pm
October 21 at 2:30pm and finally October 22 at 2:30pm.

Check your local listings as they say and look for episode #319 Halloween!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Now for the practical info. The next meeting for those interested in becoming part of this year’s cast and crew is 9/3/05 @1PM.
